Josh Arment
Josh has been tattooing for more than 20 years (circa 2019) with most of his career spent at The Aloha Monkey. He moved to Minnesota from the Chicagoland area to work with his mentor, Mike “Rollo” Malone. Josh started his education in the tattooing trade in Illinois by tattooing sailors around the Great Lakes Naval Base. However, it was his relationship with the late and great Mike Malone that truly taught him the ins and outs of tattooing. Josh's rich education is evident in his work from placement to composition.
Josh still works five days a week at the Monkey with a focus on large-scale work. All styles interest him, and he is always ready to push his abilities as an artist.
Josh’s skills as an entrepreneur have set up The Aloha Monkey and its artists for decades to come with the opening of a brand new shop in 2019. His vision for The Aloha Monkey is simple–stand on the backs of giants to push the limits of what’s possible.
